The Dyson DC41 Animal Ball Vacuum cleaner is the newest updated model now available. Dyson has really worked hard to improve over previous models that were already pretty good. Of course there are some similarities to the other Dyson vacuums, and there are some huge improvements that make the Dyson DC41 Ball Vacuum an amazing next generation Upright Vacuum.I am sure you have noticed the ‘ball’ in the name Dyson DC41 Animal Ball. That refers to this vacuum having a ball that the vacuum is built in and around. Because of the way they manufactured this unit when putting it together. They actually put some of the parts INSIDE the ball. Making a much more streamlined unit. They actually put not only the motor and filter but also the duct-work which makes for a much more quite and maneuverable vacuum. With this duct-work inside it no longer gets in the way when you are trying to get close to your furniture. Making it a TON easier to get your room clean the way you like it. While many like the ball system there are some that say it is a little hard to get used to.

The Dyson DC41 Animal has also upgraded the “Cyclone Technology” This is from the guys that started this whole line of bag-less vacuums. So you know it is good. It turns out the airflow is much smoother which creates a MUCH stronger suction. Dyson even came up with a name for the new system. “Radial Root Cyclone Technology”

The Dyson DC41 Animal has a vacuum head which measures about 13.5 inches and because of the superior suction it makes quick work of most rooms. Even more impressive the Dyson DC41 Animal New vacuum actually has a fully automatic active base that adjusts to the floor creating the optimal cleaning distance for all of your floors. This allows the motorized brush-bar to be as efficient as possible. Not only that but if you want you are able to turn off the brush-bar as needed. You wont hurt for power either the Dyson DC41 animal has one of the most powerful motors Dyson has ever used in place.

Dyson has also stepped up by including a ton of available tools for use with this system. A Stair Tool -Tool for cleaning and vacuuming stairs (I know self explained but I am sure I would get that “one person” A combination Mini Turbine Head -Depending on the attachments can be used for a ton of things. Vehicles, Couches Or anything else you can think of. The turbine head does have a mini brush-bar for optimal cleaning. One of the things I love is that the Dyson DC41 Animal does not have friction connections. They actually snap into place. In my mind that is the best but then that is just my opinion.

one of the complaints I have always had was that when I emptied my bag-less vacuum I was never able to do it and not make a mess. The engineers at Dyson thought of that when they put the DC41 Animal together. While the canister is about .55 of a gallon they also put the ‘door’ on the bottom of the canister making it very very easy to empty. This clutz thanks you.

Of course the Dyson DC41 Animal has a HEPA filtration system. HEPA is actually capable of cleaning the air and removing 99.97% of the dust particles in the air. Actually upholds that number all the way down to dust that is measured to be greater than 0.30 microns. That would include many of the things that make you crazy… pets, pollens, dust mites and a whole slew of gross things. Not only does it remove all that from the air you breath it is also easily washed.

One of the things I think is really really cool that some of the earlier models REALLY needed was a longer electrical cord. They actually put a 35 foot cord on the DC41 animal. It makes for easy cleaning with out the moving to different outlets all the time. The only issue I had with this is that the cord does tend to get in the way. Truth be told I would rather deal with that then a short cord.

Dyson DC41 Animal Vacuum Conclusion

I must say that the Dyson DC41 Animal Vacuum really goes a long way to clearing up a lot of the issues I had with the earlier lines. I have been a huge fan of the Dyson series for a long time and it seems that they just made another world beater. With all this technology the dc41 vacuum is still only about 17.5 pounds. Yes I had an issue with the cord not being retractable but in my mind that is REALLY starting to look hard for something to complain about. Of course Dyson continues to provide amazing support with a full 5 year warranty. I just cant seem to express how impressed I was with the Dyson Dc41 Animal Ball Vacuum.
